Cars slams into house on 5th Street Extended

(CHARLOTTESVILLE – WINA)   A car went over the median of 5th Street Extended Wednesday and came to rest in a brick house in Albemarle County.   No one was at home when the car slammed into the house north of Stagecoach Road, and the driver had no major injuries.

It happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.  Albemarle Police are trying to determine what caused the accident.
