Woman’s Family Files Wrongful Death Suit Against Elkton

A wrongful death lawsuit against the town of Elkton. It was filed by the estate of a woman who disappeared 11 years ago. The estate of Rachel Good and her father filed a $5 million lawsuit against the Elkton Police Department, the former police chief, and a former officer. A judge declared Rachel Good dead after she was last seen in 2003 outside the Elkton Volunteer Fire Department. The attorney for the town is asking a judge to dismiss the lawsuit.  A hearing will be held this week in Rockingham Circuit Court (pictured).
