Virginia’s Gun Sales Fail To Keep Pace With 2013

Virginia’s gun sales have hit a slump after three consecutive years of growth. The Richmond Times-Dispatch is reporting the State Police did background checks for more than 219,000 transactions during the first seven months of this year. That represents a 23% decline from the January through July period last year. A professor at Virginia Commonwealth University says 2014 can still be the second biggest year for gun sales in the state’s history.
