Another Banner Year For UVA Applications

The University of Virginia has received more than 31,000 applications for the next academic year. That includes more than 9000 Virginians, and 22,000 students who live in other states and foreign countries. UVA President Teresa Sullivan fielded questions about the admissions process during a Tuesday event in Richmond. Sullivan told the Virginia Historical Society she has personally contacted high school principals in low-income communities. She wants to make sure students in those areas know about UVA’s financial aid program.
