Two longtime members of the General Assembly are resigning effective Monday. Bob Brink (D-Arlington County) was first elected in 1997, and Algie Howell (D-Norfolk) joined the House of Delegates (pictured) after the 2003 elections. Both men are members of the House Appropriations Committee. Brink is leaving to take a job as deputy commissioner for aging services at the Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services.
