Suspect Identified In University Avenue Stabbing Case

City Police have identified the suspect in a stabbing incident Tuesday afternoon on University Avenue. Police say 58-year-old Robert Sherwood Shrieves of Charlottesville is charged with felonious assault. A man was stabbed at around 3 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of 14th St. NW and University Avenue. The victim was taken to UVA Hospital. Shrieves was arrested about 90 minutes after the incident.
