Supervisors Want Answers About Homes In Western Bypass Route

The Albemarle Supervisors is sending a letter to the Commonwealth Transportation Board regarding properties that sit in the path of the 29 Western Bypass. The supervisors want some attention to the homes in various neighborhoods, including Squirrel Ridge.  Some residents who live near the affected houses believe demolishing those structures could improve their property values. The supervisors want to make sure the CTB is aware of those properties. A federal agency has been asking new questions about the future of the bypass project. The CTB will meet next Wednesday morning in Richmond.
