The Buckingham Sheriff’s Office says the suspects are 45-year-old Leo Thomas Herring, Jr. of Schuyler and 39-year-old Jason Todd Cash of Dillwyn. They were arrested following a lengthy stolen car investigation. Cash is charged with ten counts of grand larceny and Herring is charged with 11 counts. They’re accused of stealing unregistered vehicles and selling them as scrap metal at a recycling center in Waynesboro.
