Red Light Camera Proposed For 29N-Greenbrier

Another red light camera on 29 North. The county staff wants to set up photo-red at the intersection of 29 and Greenbrier Drive. It would join the one at the Rio Road intersection. But supervisor Brad Sheffield says he wants more feedback from the public before putting it at Greenbrier. The supervisors will take up the matter next Wednesday night, and they’re welcoming comments. Meanwhile, County Police Chief Steve Sellers says red light cameras should be shut down during the upcoming construction at Rio and 29.
