There was a disorder late Sunday night in downtown Scottsville, and one man suffered a knife wound. Carter Johnson of the Albemarle Police says the problems did not end there. Up to 40 people were involved in the disorder that stretched from the part of Scottsville near the James River to an Exxon station. Albemarle got some backup from the Scottsville Police, the State Police, the Fluvanna Sheriff’s Office, and two state game wardens.
Damage estimated at $500,000.
Denise Lunsford says her office “will take whatever measures necessary” to ensure any possible prosecution.
