Orange County Girl Found Safe After Amber Alert

An Amber Alert was issued from Orange County, but the young girl involved was found safe. State Police issued the Amber Alert for five-year-old Amiyah Monet Dallas of Orange. She was last seen shortly before 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon in the custody of her aunt, Olivia Dallas. Authorities say it was a suspected abduction and the girl could have been in imminent danger. A state trooper stopped the suspect’s car Wednesday afternoon in Accomack County. Amiyah Monet Dallas was recovered safely and Olivia Dallas was taken into custody. State Police say the aunt has a history of depression and drug use.
