Memorial Services Are Planned For Gus Deeds

Two memorial services for Gus Deeds are planned for the first Saturday of May. Family and friends of the onetime College of William and Mary student will gather at 10 a.m. May 3rd at 10 at Millboro Elementary School in Bath County. At 3 p.m. that day, there will be a separate memorial service in the Vesuvius area of Rockbridge County. Gus (pictured) was the only son of State Senator Creigh Deeds. He attacked his father last November 19th at their Bath County home, and ended up taking his own life.
