Lynchburg Woman Killed In Crash On 29 South

A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning on 29 South near Covesville. Albemarle Police say 42-year-old Stephanie Spicer of Lynchburg died at the scene shortly after 8 a.m. Spicer’s pickup truck veered off 29 South, over-corrected, and went into the median where it struck a tree. Her death was Albemarle County’s sixth fatal crash of the year.
