A onetime member of the Albemarle Board of Supervisors has passed away. 86-year-old Bill Roudabush died last week. Roudabush was elected as an Independent to the Rivanna District seat in 1975 and 1979. He was a Charlottesville native who graduated from the old Lane High School decades before it became the main County Office Building (pictured). Governor George Allen appointed Roudabush to the Commonwealth Transportation Board in 1994, and he served one term.
The victim remains in critical condition.
