Local Officials Honored For Helping Crime Victims

Several local officials have been honored for helping victims of crime. It’s part of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, and the awards come from the Jefferson Area Victim Assistance Coalition. Those recognized are Dr. Greg Gelburd of Downtown Family Health Care, Assistant U.S. Attorney Nancy Healey, State Police Special Agent Phillip Holley, Senior Probation Officer Jeff Lenert, Assistant Albemarle prosecutor John Zug, and the staff of Offender Aid and Restoration.
