Kaine Proposes Bill Dealing With Long-Term Deployments

How the U.S. gets involved in any military conflict needs to be addressed.  That’s the thought behind what’s called the War Powers Consultation Act sponsored by Senators Tim Kaine (D- Virginia) and John McCain (R-Arizona). Kaine says it would require the President and Congress to mutually agree on any long-term deployment of U.S. forces. Kaine was a guest on the WINA Morning News With Rick and Jane.
