Hurt Discusses Immigration Reform On Schilling Show

Local Congressman Robert Hurt is glad a federal agency did an about-face, and abandoned plans to relocate young undocumented aliens to Brunswick County. Hurt says there’s one thing about the recent episode that still bothers him. That’s the way residents of Brunswick County and Lawrenceville were portrayed in other places. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services dropped its proposal to relocate kids from south of the border to the now-closed Saint Paul’s College in Lawrenceville. Hurt was a Monday guest on the Schilling Show.
