The Majority Leader of the House of Delegates wants Virginia Democrats to drop the idea of expanding the Medicaid rolls. Kirk Cox of Colonial Heights says he and his fellow Republicans are convinced the Democrats’ plan won’t work.  Cox has accused Governor McAuliffe and the General Assembly Democrats of bringing Washington D.C. style politics, inlcuding a debate over Medicaid, to Richmond. The General Assembly is scheduled to wrap up its regular session on March 8th.
