A funeral with a procession of emergency vehicles was held Monday for 44-year-old Robert Charles “Bubba” Baber. Baber was a past chief of the Crozet Volunteer Fire Department as well as a Life Member. He was also an active member of the Western Albemarle Rescue Squad. A graveside service was held at Rockgate Cemetery in Crozet. The procession of emergency vehicles escorted Chief Baber to Crozet from Teague Funeral Home on Ivy Road.
Three lawsuits have been filed against a policeman who works for Albemarle County.
