Rash Of Mailbox Vandalism Cases In Fluvanna

Authorities in Fluvanna County are offering a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of some vandals. Lieutenant David Wells of the Fluvanna Sheriff’s office says a dozen mailboxes were damaged in the Broken Island area.¬†Wells says vandalism and petty larcenies become more common during warmer weather. He’s urging Fluvanna residents to think twice before posting vacation plans on Facebook and other social media sites.
