Rash Of Mailbox Vandalism Cases In Fluvanna

Authorities in Fluvanna County are offering a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of some vandals. Lieutenant David Wells of the Fluvanna Sheriff’s office says a dozen mailboxes were damaged in the Broken Island area. Wells says vandalism and petty larcenies become more common during warmer weather. He’s urging Fluvanna residents to think twice before posting vacation plans on Facebook and other social media sites.
