Flash Flood Watch Posted For Tuesday-Wednesday

The National Weather Service has posted a flash flood watch for much of our area for Tuesday evening through Wednesday night. The flash flood watch area includes Albemarle, Charlottesville, Greene, Nelson, Madison, Fluvanna, Culpeper, Orange, Augusta, Waynesboro, Staunton, Rockingham and Harrisonburg. Forecasters say we could get three to five inches of rain between Tuesday evening and Wednesday night. It could cause flooding of creeks, streams and urban areas.
