Danville Police Say DUI Driver Caused Explosion At Apartment Building

A drunk driver has been blamed for a Saturday explosion and fire that damaged a Danville apartment building, and left 14 people without a home. Danville Police say 36-year-old James T. Barksdale is charged with DUI and operating a vehicle with an expired license. Police say Barksdale lost control of his car and it struck an apartment building. Six people were hospitalized, but police expect all of them to survive.
