Federal Prosecutors Take Corey Schock Case

A local judge has told city prosecutors they can drop their charges against a teacher at Venable Elementary School. The Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court judge has paved the way for federal prosecutors to take over the case against Corey¬†Robert Schock. They plan to try the fourth-grade teacher in the Eastern District of Virginia in a court that’s closer to the alleged victim. Schock was arrested last month on child pornography charges.¬†The 43-year-old Schock is now in federal custody.
