Opposition To Adding Bike Lanes On Elliott Avenue

An Elliott Avenue homeowner is questioning Charlottesville’s plans for installing bike lanes on his street. Adam Rhea objects to losing parking spaces between the former Frank Ix building and the intersection of Elliott Avenue and Avon Street. Rhea says a loss of on-street parking would be a real hardship for older neighbors who don’t have driveways. He’s brought his questions about the bike lanes to City Hall (pictured).
