A worker for a company based in Culpeper has been killed in an accident in Arlington. Franklin Talley, Jr. of Madison was an employee of Culpeper-based C.M. Hauling and Clearing. Authorities say Talley was killed recently while trying to secure a load of logs on a flatbed truck. Talley was hit in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. He had been working for the company for only just over a month.
