City Councilors are sifting through four different proposals for the block near the Downtown Mall that currently houses the City Market on many Saturday mornings. Four area developers have shown the councilors what they think might be done with the block between Water and South Streets. Each is ready to showcase the potential for this block (pictured). The possibilities might include multi-family housing and a restaurant or other businesses. The councilors will discuss the proposals during a meeting next month, and expect to reach a decision by June.
