Conservationists Urge Fluvanna Supervisors To Reject Walker’s Ridge

The Rivanna Conservation Society hopes the Fluvanna County supervisors will just say no to Walker’s Ridge. This development has been proposed for an area north of Palmyra, and would consist of nearly 1200 housing units and massive amounts of commercial space. Robbi Savage of the Conservation Society says Walker’s Ridge presents significant environmental risks that would affect communities outside Fluvanna County. The Fluvanna Supervisors are slated to consider the proposal soon.
