City Police Warn Merchants About Bogus $100 Bills

Charlottesville Police officers are seeing an increase of counterfeit money in the area. There have been five incidents over the past week or so involving someone trying to pass a counterfeit $100 bill. Merchants are being urged to carefully check bills to see if they are the real McCoy. If you have information regarding these counterfeit cases contact the City Police.
