City Police Ask For Help In Shoplifting Case

Charlottesville Police are asking for your help in finding a shoplifter. A woman is wanted for taking several items of clothing into a dressing room at K-Mart, putting them into a bag and then leaving the store. A security guard tried to approach her, but she ran. It happened shortly after 2:30 Wednesday afternoon. A picture of the suspect can be seen here. She appears to be between 28 and 32 years old, 5’6” tall and weighs about 220 pounds.
