Area Residents Help Re-Dedicate Vietnam Veterans Memorial

More than 100 people came together Friday to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in McIntire Park. Veteran Jack Raymond rarely talks about his time in uniform, but he says he knows about the losses associated with the conflict in Southeast Asia. The local memorial was originally dedicated April 23rd, 1966. It was the nation’s first Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
