Hundreds of local families came together Saturday for the annual “Back to School Bash” at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion. The weekend event was a chance for Albemarle County and Charlottesville kids to get free school supplies for the upcoming academic year. Both the Albemarle and Charlottesville public schools will begin classes on Wednesday. The event was sponsored by the African American Pastors Council, the city, and the school divisions.
Damage estimated at $500,000.
Denise Lunsford says her office “will take whatever measures necessary” to ensure any possible prosecution.
Announcement came just hours after her parent's visited the crime scene.
