Annual Debate Over Roe Versus Wade Pops Up In Richmond

The anniversary of Roe versus Wade decision always falls when the General Assembly is in session, and it traditionally sparks a lively debate. State Senator Mamie Locke supports the landmark decision on abortion that Supreme Court handed down 41 years ago. The Hampton Democrat gets upset with lawmakers who still oppose it. Our area has had many demonstrations sponsored by groups such as Planned Parenthood (pictured) that have a stake in the future of Roe versus Wade.
