Albemarle School Board Revisits Capacity Issues

The Albemarle School Board is taking another look at elementary school building capacities.  The board had a recent brainstorming session with members of a Long Range Planning Committee. Committee member Tiffany Barber has noted the potental for overcrowding at Woodbrook and Stony Point schools. Stony Point currently has four trailers in its campus. Woodbrook is in the county’s urban ring, and its attendance zone appears in pink on the map (pictured). The school board has not made any decisions about any of these issues.
