BOSTON (AP) — A website where people can share thoughts about John F. Kennedy’s legacy and stories of how he has inspired them is debuting just ahead of the 50th anniversary of his assassination.

Visitors to the “An Idea Lives On” website will see an interactive video with people such as NASA Commander Chris Cassidy, former Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis and Freedom Rider Charles Person talking about Kennedy’s lasting impact on their lives.

The Kennedy Library Foundation, which is spearheading the project, hopes they will upload their own photos, videos and messages to answer the question “How do the ideals of John F. Kennedy live on in your life today?”
