R. Kelly gets revenge on Benedict Cumberbatch with Star Trek lines

R. Kelly has turned the tables on Benedict Cumberbatch by singing script lines from “Star Trek Into the Darkness” after the actor recited sultry lyrics by the R&B singer on TV last week.

The British actor showed off his reading skills on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” by performing a spoken-word version of R. Kelly’s new track, “Genius.”

The video of Cumberbatch’s dramatic recital has garnered almost 2 million views on YouTube, and now Kelly has got his own back by turning lines uttered by the actor’s character Khan into a new tune. During an appearance on Vh1’s “Big Morning Buzz Live” on Thursday, R. Kelly used his signature smooth voice to recite Cumberbatch’s pivotal line in the “Star Trek” sequel: “John Harrison was a smoke screen to conceal my true identity. My name is Khan.”

The “revenge” is at 4:36 into the interview.
