Muppets are heading to Broadway

The Muppets are poised to make their Broadway debut in a new musical, according to a new report.

Disney bosses are reportedly in talks with a New York theater company to bring the beloved puppets to the Great White Way in a new stage show.

Editors at the New York Post report they are set to strike a deal with the Jujamcyn Theaters group, which is currently hosting productions including “The Book of Mormon” and “Jersey Boys,” but a Muppets musical is several years away from hitting the stage.
