Virginia Participates In Earthquake Drill

Virginia and West Virginia are participating in a multi-state earthquake drill. The second annual Great SouthEast ShakeOut is set for 10:17 a.m. Thursday. The basic drill is to drop, take cover and hold on. On August 23rd, 2011, a magnitude-5.8 earthquake centered in Mineral, was felt all along the Eastern seaboard. The other states participating in the drill are Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina and South Carolina.
