Victims’ Families To Hold “Enough Is Enough” News Conference

The families of several young people who have died or disappeared will hold a news conference Saturday. They’ll discuss what can be done to protect young women and men from violent crime. Dan Harrington, the father of Morgan Harrington, says the incidents have devastated not only their families but many others in the Central Virginia and Route 29 corridor. The press conference will be at noon Saturday at Miller Park in Lynchburg. Expected to attend are Dan and Gil Harrington, and Laura Murphy along with other members of the family of Alexis Murphy. Representatives of the groups “Help Save the Next Girl” and “S.H.O.P.O. Nation” will also be there.
