VDOT will host a public hearing next week on possible upgrades for a bridge that crosses the Conway River at the Greene-Madison county line. The Commonwealth wants to renovate the Route 230 bridge, which was opened in 1939. VDOT will look for feedback from 5-7 p.m. on December 10th at Post 128 of the American Legion on Madison Road in Stanardsville. The estimated cost is nearly $4 million, and VDOT wants to begin construction in the spring of 2016.
