UVA’s Miller Center Has More Nixon Tapes To Study

More of President Nixon’s secret tapes from 40 years ago were released Wednesday. Researcher Ken Hughes, who works for UVA’s Miller Center, has spent the last 17 years studying the Nixon tapes. The final batch of tapes came from April 9th through July 12th, 1973. The voices of Nixon and several of his successors, including Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, and the first President George Bush appear on the tapes. UVA’s Miller Center (pictured) is researching the secret White House tapes that feature every President from Franklin D. Roosevelt to Nixon.
