UVA Keeps AccessUVa, But Provisions Change In 2014

AccessUVa has a new lease on life at the University of Virginia, but the program is being tweaked. The Board of Visitors voted Saturday to amend provisions of the Access UVA program as of the fall of 2014.  University official including President Teresa Sullivan (pictured) hoped the newly revamped AccessUVa will grow less rapidly.  A year from now, UVA will start to offer loans as part of the assistance for students with financial need. Access UVA will not affect any current student who gets financial aid.
