Tougher Texting While Driving Laws Kick In July 1

The first of July will bring new laws that crack down on texting while driving and DUI. Texting behind the wheel will be a primary offense, meaning an officer can pull you over if you’re seen doing it.  Sunni Brown of the DMV says a DUI becomes a felony if a driver has already been convicted of some other charges that result in injuries.
