Nelson County Tax Revenue Enhanced By Lockn’ Festival

The early numbers are in on the Lockn’ Festival.  The Commissioner of Revenue for Nelson County says early numbers place tax revenue to be received by the county at approximately 1.6 million dollars. They are estimating that 53% of ticket sales are from outside Virginia. Around 25,000 people attended the four-day festival at the Oak Ridge Estate.
