The great-aunt of a missing Nelson County teenager is upset about the way Randy Taylor has portrayed Alexis Murphy. Trina Murphy told WDBJ-TV in Roanoke that Taylor is claiming Alexis is not a victim. Taylor disputes the accusation by prosecutors that he was the last person who saw Alexis Murphy before she vanished. Trina Murphy does not believe Taylor’s story about Alexis introducing him to a marijuana dealer. She says Taylor had no business approaching Alexis. Meanwhile, a bond hearing has been scheduled for 1 p.m. next Thursday in Lovingston. Charlottesville lawyer Mike Hallahan, who’s representing Taylor, wants a judge to set a bond amount for his client. Alexis Murphy has not been seen since August 3rd.
