Some students are urging University of Virginia President Teresa Sullivan to block a looming overhaul of AccessUVA. They don’t want the University to follow through on a proposal to convert AccessUVA into a student loan program in 2014. These Wahoos also want a living wage for UVA’s workforce, and fewer hassles for undocumented students. A diverse coalition chanted and carried posters (pictured) Sunday from Brooks Hall to Sullivan’s home on Carr’s Hill. These members of the Virginia Student Power Network want a written response from Sullivan by the end of this month.
