State Police have issued an endangered missing child alert following a Fourth of July incident in Spotsylvania County. Authorities in Spotsylvania say a 12 or 13-year-old white male might have been abducted by an adult at around 1:40 p.m. Thursday. The child is believed to be in danger. The boy is 5′ 1″, weighs 70 to 80 pounds, and has long sandy blonde hair. He wore a red and white striped shirt with cargo pants. Witnesses have told police he might be in the company of a white or Hispanic male who drove a sky blue commercial full-sized van with tinted windows. Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies in Loudoun County are searching for a man who’s accused of grabbing an 11-year-old girl and attempting to assault her. Lieutenant Richard Fiano of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office says the girl did not panic and told detectives the man asked what’s a pretty young girl like you doing out here? Fiano says the Loudoun Sheriff’s Office is looking for an Hispanic male who’s nearly 6′ tall and has dark messy hair. At the time of the incident, he wore a dark hoodie, torn jeans and black sneakers. It happened late Tuesday afternoon in the South Riding area of Loudoun County.
