SNAP Recipients Get Less Bang For Buck In November

Virginians who qualify for food stamp benefits will get less help beginning Friday. A grant from a federal stimulus package expires this week, and a family of four will get a $36 cut starting in November. This affects people who are part of SNAP, which is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. The average decrease is more than 5%.
