A shareholder in a Virginia-based hardwood flooring company has filed a class action lawsuit against the firm. The shareholder has accused the top brass at Lumber Liquidators of making false and misleading statements about where they get their wood products. Federal agencies are also investigating reports that the company imports flooring material with excessive amounts of formaldehyde. Lumber Liquidators is based in James City County, and has more than 300 stores.
