Sentencing In Fatal Drunk Driving Crash

Sentencing in Louisa County for a man involved in a fatal drunk driving accident. 24-year-old Lawrence Hawk II has been ordered to spend eight years and three months in prison. Hawk was convicted of aggravated manslaughter and maiming in connection with a crash that happened November 23rd, 2012. Louisa prosecutor Rusty McGuire says Hawk was the driver of a car that crashed into a tree. One passenger was killed and another was seriously injured. Medical officials say Hawk had a blood-alcohol content that was almost twice the legal limit. Hawk was sentenced Monday in Louisa Circuit Court (pictured).
