School Board Shows Strong Interest In Getting Student Input

The Albemarle School Board is a big step closer to getting regular input from the county’s nearly 13,000 students. The board voiced strong interest Thursday night in hearing from students during the upcoming academic year. Social Studies Facilitator Jennifer Sublette brought in three high school kids who belong to a student advisory council. They include Western Albemarle High School student Tim Dodson (pictured left), and Albemarle High School students Ann Yu (pictured center) and Ryann Murray (pictured right). County staffers will come up with an arrangement for students to attend school board meetings.
